Orcadian
Stone Company Ltd is a family business established in
1970 by Anne & Don Shelley.
It is now run by Anne with help from her son and daughter-in-law (Bruce & Rose).
Don built up the exhibition over 30 years; it now fills three rooms
in a building designed for the purpose and is a mecca for tourists
and geological excursions by universities and schools. |

| Welcome to north Scotland! You will find us on the A9, 50 miles north of Inverness. We are at the northern end of the village of Golspie, about 150m beyond the post office. Please drive in – there is ample parking. Buses from Inverness stop at the post office. The railway station is one mile to the south. The nearest airports are Inverness & Wick. |

| Golspie is an
attractive coastal village, set among old red sandstone hills. One mile to the north is Dunrobin Castle, 15th Century seat of the Earls of Sutherland & 4 miles to the south is Loch Fleet, famous for its wildfowl and common seals. |
