Orcadian Stone Company The shop occupies part of an 1850 villa, set in a large garden with ample picnic space. We specialise in minerals, fossils & geological books & maps. Geological specimen cards & rock collections have been made here for 30 years.
We stock gold and silver jewellery from Orkney and a wide selection of gemstone beads, designed and strung on the premises. Giftware in Highland stone includes clocks, lamps, vases, paperweights, thermometers, bookends etc.
which are made locally by our associate company, “Sutherland Stonework”. We also stock a comprehensive range of imported stone spheres, eggs, obelisks, vases and bowls. Orcadian Stone Company Ltd is a family business established in 1970 by Anne & Don Shelley. It is now run by Anne with help from her son and daughter-in-law (Bruce & Rose).
